Celebration of South Africa Dining Experience

Join us at The Farmhouse for A Celebration of South Africa, an evening of bold flavours and beautifully paired wines. Executive Chef Sherwin Jacobs brings his South African roots to the table with a menu full of warmth, depth and vibrant flavour.

The evening begins with freshly baked mosbolletjies and homemade butter, before moving into dishes that reflect the layered, spice-led cooking South Africa is known for. Think BBQ apricot glazed smoked salmon with Cape Malay mussel curry, followed by Herefordshire rump of beef served with spinach, soetwortels and bobotie, bringing together British produce with South African heritage and flavour.

To finish, a comforting malva pudding with brandy sauce and milk tart ice cream, a dessert that sits at the heart of many South African tables.

Each course will be paired with wines hosted by Lars Maack from Buitenverwachting Estate, who will join us to introduce the wines, share the vineyard’s story and guide you through each pairing as the evening unfolds.
