Festive Two-Course Lunch Menu
There’s always an excuse to gather around the table at Christmas. Catch up with friends before diaries get completely taken over, bring the team together for a festive lunch, or make it the first stop before heading off to an evening party. Our two-course Festive Lunch Menu is made for those December get-togethers that deserve a little more than the usual lunch break.
Available Monday to Friday, settle in for great seasonal food, crackers on the table and plenty of festive cheer, with an arrival drink or after-dinner port, followed by coffee and petit fours. Whether it’s a long lunch with your favourite people or a well-earned celebration with colleagues, come and make an afternoon of it at the Farmhouse.

Meet Father Christmas
Bring the whole family and step into a little Christmas magic at The Barns on Sunday 13th December. Our immersive festive experience brings storytime to life, with songs, festive fun and biscuit treats shared with Father Christmas himself, all within our beautifully decorated Barn.
While little ones get swept up in the magic, settle in and enjoy a delicious brunch together. And with every ticket including a donation to Action for Children, it’s a Christmas experience that gives a little back too.

A Festive Gathering with the Team
Christmas is the perfect excuse to get everyone away from their desks and around the table. For groups of eight or more, we can host your festive celebration in our Orangery or one of our three private dining rooms, with great seasonal food, a brilliant wine and cocktail list, and plenty of time to properly switch off and celebrate together.
And if lunch has a habit of turning into dinner, drinks and one more for the road, we have 27 bedrooms on site too. Make a night of it and nobody has to worry about the journey home.
Plus, if you’re one of our loyalty members, you’ll receive 5% cashback on your booking. A nice little something to put towards dinner with the family, treating someone you love, or another visit to the Farmhouse or one of our sister sites.
Festive Afternoon Tea
Our much-loved Festive Afternoon Tea will be back! It’s the perfect excuse for a catch-up with friends, to treat someone you love, or to take a little time out after some Christmas shopping.
Enjoy a mix of sweet and savoury favourites, all freshly made in our kitchen. You can keep things classic with pots of tea, or make it that bit more special with a glass of Nyetimber Demi-Sec. It’s a lovely way to slow down and soak up a bit of the season!

Just a few steps across the courtyard from The Farmhouse, our historic Barns are hosting a line-up of festive celebrations to suit every style and group size. You’ll find festive menus, entertainment, and plenty of sparkle to get you in the Christmas spirit.
And if you don’t fancy the journey home, don’t forget we’ve got stylish bedrooms just steps away – perfect for falling into after a night on the dance floor.
Make It An Experience With Private Dining
There’s no better place in Hertfordshire to host a private Christmas lunch or festive dinner than here at The Farmhouse. Step inside and treat your guests to an unforgettable dining experience in one of our three beautifully historic rooms, each brimming with character, warmth and seasonal charm.
For intimate gatherings of 8–10, The Old Kitchen, with its roaring open fireplace and charming dresser, creates the perfect backdrop for raising a glass. The Oak Room, seating 10–13, offers a magical setting under its antler chandelier and a grand table made for long, laughter-filled dinners. For larger parties, The Victorian Room welcomes up to 16 guests, with heritage portraits on the walls and a fireplace mantel dressed for the season.
From the moment you arrive to the very last bite of pudding, our team will make sure every detail is taken care of, so you can relax, celebrate and make it a night (or afternoon) to remember.
