Chef's Garden Table - A South African Braai

 

Friday 10th July | From 6.30pm

Join us for the return of Chef's Garden Table, one of our favourite evenings of the year.

This summer edition will be led by our Executive Chef, Sherwin Jacobs, celebrating the flavours and traditions of a South African Braai with a specially created five-course tasting menu cooked over fire and enjoyed in the garden.

Expect dishes including biltong and droëwors, roosterkoek with pickled fish, yellowtail and prawn potjie with Cape Malay butter, Mimram Valley lamb and boerewors, alongside sides inspired by the season and what's growing locally and around the Farmhouse garden.

The evening will finish with chargrilled brandy peaches, milk tart crème and, of course, a Dom Pedro, a South African favourite. Part grown-up milkshake, part indulgent dessert, made with vanilla ice cream and a generous splash of liqueur.

Alongside the menu, guests will enjoy free-flowing selected wines throughout the evening, live music as the sun goes down, and a fun summer atmosphere around the table.
